Visit Oia and Fira

We will board a boat to get to the commercial port of Athinios where an air-conditioned coach waits the group for a guided tour of Santorini.

Oia is a picturesque village perched high atop Santorini’s northern terminus known for its beauty and spectacular sunsets among the rough cliffs and the open sea.

Below there is the beach of Ammoudi, accessible only on foot. We will discover the typical architecture of Santorini with the whitewashed houses under blue domes and sunny terraces. Oia is housing a cultural centre and numerous art galleries. In addition a number of shops sell local handicrafts, such as jewelry and other souvenirs.

After Oia we will continue to Fira, the capital village of the island. After the earthquake of 1956 a part of the city was destroyed (only very few of the buildings of the 12th century were saved).

The city is built on the edge of the 400 metres (1,312 feet) high caldera on the western edge of the semi-circular island of Theraand it offers a magnificent panoramic view.

Disembarkation information

The boat anchors in the Old Harbour or Fira Skala, the disembarkation will be done with boats from the harbour and our guide will be waiting for you when you get off the boats.
It is very important not to move from this point, because as it is an old harbour, there is no bus parking.
For groups of more than 24 people, we will use a boat both on the outward and return trip to take you to the new harbour where our bus will be waiting for you to start the excursion. Round trip boat 12,00 € per person, REDUCED RATE CHILDREN FROM 2 TO 9 YEARS OLDER 6,00 €.
For groups of less than 24 people, we will move after the landing boat by funicular for the ascent, without affecting the basic itinerary of the excursion. Funicular ascent 6,00 € per person, REDUCED RATE CHILDREN FROM 6 TO 12 YEARS OLDER 3,00 €, the return is on your own as specified below.
RETURN ON YOUR OWN: For groups of less than 24 people: The prices indicated are not those of our company and are therefore subject to change during the season and payment must be made on the spot.
Funicular: (6,00 € per passenger to be paid on the spot). Approximate travel time is 5 minutes.
Donkey: (6,00 € per passenger to be paid on the spot). Approximate duration of the tour is 20 minutes.
Stairs: not recommended for the elderly or people with motor difficulties. Approximate duration of the tour is 30 minutes.

It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes.
This excursion is not recommended for people with reduced mobility who travel with a wheelchair or baby carriages, since the terrain is irregular and the streets are narrow.
