Walking tour through Oslo with the visit to The Holmenkollen Tower

Oslo and its surrounding provoke the desire to discover the impressive subway network and beautiful pristine nature through the journey that will reveal to you Norway’s Heritage from skiing to traditional and modern arts. This is the perfect option if you want to explore the best of the city in one day. Our excursion begins with a walk through the historical center of Oslo.
We will start with the visit to a Fortress and the Medieval Akershus Castle. In the modern part of the city we will see the National Opera and Ballet, the National Theater and the Parliament. Also, we will see the University and some of the most outstanding elements of Oslo, before reaching the majestic Royal Palace, which is on top of Karl Johans Gate, one of the most beautiful pedestrian streets in Europe. Here we will spend some time to enjoy a good coffee and feel the atmosphere of this Nordic city, or to do some shopping, if desired.
Later on, we will reach the Ski Jumping Tower of Holmenkollen, which spectacularly rises above the surroundings of this spot and offers a stunning view to the thick forests; ideal place to contemplate the great Oslo Fjord.
Once we’ve finished with the views, we will return to the city by bus in order to make an extraordinary visit to the Vigeland Park. There you will find the sculptures that were built and named by the sculptor Gustav Vigeland. This work consists of an impressive life-size collection of human figures, made of bronze, iron and stone. The sculptural group represents the life circle of a human being, the emotional journey and our desire of eternity on Earth.
After that we will return to the port.
