Our guide or coordinator will pick you up from the port.
Like a sea dragon, the Atlantic Ocean Road connects islands that are more than 8 kilometers away from each other and are constantly disturbed by the wind. This fantastic road that goes over the Atlantic Ocean is unique. Besides being a popular tourist attraction it is also connects the municipalities of Averøy and Eide. It took more than 6 years to complete this road and it consists of a total of 8 bridges.
This tour is full of breathtaking views that includes visit to the Eide village and trip through the Kornstadf fjord. We will stop at the visitor center at the Atlantic Ocean road where we can take a short walk along this impressive construction (through the pedestrian zone) and / or have a coffee in the cafeteria. We will continue our tour through Hustadvika, a stretch of the sea full of underwater islets, before reaching Bud, a charming fishing village that faces the open sea and where we will stop at another interesting spot. You will have a chance to take some pictures near the fortification, that is now a museum dedicated to the World War II. We will see the Bjørnsund islands from afar and go through the Malmefjorden towards Elnesvågen.
Then we return to the port for boarding.
