PISA FLORENCE FROM LA SPEZIA

Northern Italy is home to more fantastic destinations than can be counted, but Pisa and Florence are two of the best, without a doubt. Our professional guide is eagerly awaiting your arrival in the port of Livorno to show you both of them! After disembarking in Livorno you’ll get on an air conditioned bus for a 45 minute ride to the enchanting town of Pisa. There you’ll have some free time to wander to the Pizza dei Miracoli (just a few minutes walking from where the bus will stop), taking in the famous leaning tower, or observe the cathedral and baptistery.

After enjoying the splendour of Pisa, the tour will continue on to Florence, the centre of the Italian Renaissance. Your guide will introduce you to magnificent sights like the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the sprawling Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiori, the baptistery and the iconic Giotto bell tower. The tour will continue by foot down charming narrow streets to the Piazza della Signoria, home of the Gothic Palace with its lush courtyard and artistic masterpieces. The nearby Loggia dei Lanzi is an outdoor museum showing some of the finest sculptures of the Renaissance!

The tour also includes the famous bridge, Ponte Vecchio, and the Santa Croce Church (where Michaelangelo is buried). You’ll also be given some free time for lunch and shopping before the group returns to the port of Livorno, where your guide will see you off to the next leg of your European journey.
