This European medieval city is well preserved and was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Numerous Russian Orthodox churches, Lutheran and Dominican monasteries which are real witnesses of historical past of the city (a beautiful Alexander Nevsky Orthodox cathedral that dominates the city with its black domes, St. Mary’s Cathedral, the largest Lutheran church in Estonia, St. Olav's Church which was the highest building of the medieval Europe) are bound to attract your attention.

Following city tour of the downtown of Tallinn, you will visit the KUMU Art Museum.
KUMU presents both permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. The main collection covers Estonian art from the beginning of the 18th century till 1991. Temporary exhibitions include both foreign and Estonian modern and contemporary art.


IMPORTANT: The tickets to the museum should be paid in advance

KUMU Art Museum - 11 EURO for adults, 8 EURO for children (0 - 6 years for free).
The museum is closed on Mondays

When you exit the ship, you need to walk past the souvenir shopping area towards large exit gates and the city. Depending on the location of your ship, your ship may dock right next to souvenir shopping or you may need to walk about 200-300 meters (220-330 yards) to reach the souvenir shopping area. Please note that there are tour buses inside cruise port area but these are operated by cruise ship agents. Independent tour operators have no authorization to enter this secured area in Tallinn.
