Tallinn City Tour & Synagogue visit

Tallinn is a beautiful medieval city as well as a former Jewish Homeland. This tour will take you to the best highlights of both historic old town, city center and a local Synagogue.

Your private guide will give you an overview of Jewish life and history in Estonia.

Walking tour will begin with a discovery of the upper Old Town, the Hill of Toompea where you will find the Houses of Parliament and the Cathedral of Saint Mary the Virgin as well as Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Your guide will lead you through beautifully preserved medieval streets towards the lower town passing the Town Wall towards the Town Hall Square, political center of Old Town for the last eight centuries.
In the heart of lower old town is a 15th century Town Hall and Europe’s oldest continuously-operating pharmacy.

The sightseeing tour will then take you to view the baroque style Kadriorg Palace and gardens built by Peter the Great, the Presidential Palace, the synagogue, The Song Festival Grounds and St Bridget’s Convent Ruins.

During the tour in the Old Town you can also enjoy a coffee break with traditional soup.
The tour will end with a drive back to the cruise harbor or your hotel.


Instructions for Disembarkation in Tallinn Cruise Port:

Our guides will be waiting for your right OUTSIDE of cruise port gate.
When you exit the ship, you need to walk past the souvenir shopping area towards large exit gates and the city. Depending on the location of your ship, your ship may dock right next to souvenir shopping or you may need to walk about 200-300 meters (220-330 yards) to reach the souvenir shopping area. Please note that there are tour buses inside cruise port area but these are operated by cruise ship agents. Independent tour operators have no authorization to enter this secured area in Tallinn.
