Group size:

  • Date: select
  • Duration: 8 hours
  • PRIVATE

For this shore excursion we arrange for your pick up at Bilbao port and take you through the Gipuzkoa province of which San Sebastian is the capital.

Upon arrival to San Sebastian, we begin our sightseeing tour by ascending to the top of Mount Igueldo to enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of La Concha. We are to continue to the city center, location of most notable historical buildings - Victoria Eugenia Theatre, Hotel Maria Cristina, City Hall and Cathedral of the Good Shepherd. Most buildings have been well-maintained preserving medieval romantic aura.

We continue with guided walking tour in Parte Vieja (old town) which lies across the neck of Monte Urgull. Passing through the Old Town’ narrow streets, we locate two of the three major churches found in San Sebastian: Santa Maria Church and San Vicente Church. Apart from the historical landmarks, the Old Town stands out for its famous bar pintxos. Our tour will allow you to enjoy the region’s famous miniature food in the old town of San Sebastian, same way that locals do. With its world famous pintxo (tapas) culture almost unmatched anywhere else in Spain, San Sebastián frequently tops lists of the world's best places to eat out.

This resort town gained worldwide reputation as a foodie capital, Michelin stars in glittering abundance, and restaurants that routinely cram the upper echelons of any given shortlist.

During your free time in San Sebastian you could opt for a superb lunch followed by enjoyable stroll through the narrow streets of the old town.
