With each step the past of this Hanseatic city comes to live. The old town, surrounded by water, represents 1000 years of living history and an impressive medieval image of brick Gothic architecture. The oval-shaped old town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today Lübeck is a modern port and commercial city. During our visit we will get to know the medieval atmosphere that characterizes Lübeck: the famous Holsten Gate, the St. Mary’s church, the old Town Hall, the Chancellery building, the Hospital of the Holy Spirit, the St.-Peter church with a fascinating view over the city from its tower and the marzipan salon with the history of the world-renowned delicacy of Lübeck.
