Our guide will meet you at the Port of Palma de Mallorca where we board an air-conditioned coach to take a guided tour of Porto Cristo and the Caves of Drach.

Leaving the port we first head in the direction of Porto Cristo where we walk for about an hour to enjoy this typical Mallorcan fishing village. It has a large sandy beach and a long promenade with a variety of restaurants, bars, boutiques and shops.

We then take a short drive to the entrance of the Caves of Drach which are located on the east coast of Mallorca. These caves are one of the highlights of the island hence they are one of the most popular tourist attractions here. These spectacular caves are up to 2,400 metres in length and reach 25 metres under ground.

Inside the caves is a large underground lake called Lake Martel, considered to be one of the world’s largest underground lakes which is 177 metres long by 30 metres wide. There are daily concerts staged here including a variety of different classical music by Knight, Chopin, Offenbach etc.

After the concert you can enjoy a short boat ride on the lake. The unique beauty of these caves is enhanced by the lighting which was designed and built by the engineer Carlos Buigas.

On our return journey we go via two very popular local factories, one famous for making Mallorcan pearls and the other for a variety of souvenirs made from the local olive wood.

Finally we return to the Port of Mallorca so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.

We trust you had a wonderful day with us and we shall look forward to seeing you again soon.
