Trip to Klaipeda and Palanga

During the morning you will go on a sightseeing tour of Klaipeda, which includes the Post Office, the Sculpture Park, Memelburg Castle, the Theatre Square, Liepu Street amongst other attractions. Afterwards we will travel to the nearby town of Palanga (25km away), which is the most popular and developed summer destination on the Lithuanian coast. We visit the famous Botanical Garden and the Amber Museum, which is located in the family mansion of the former Count Tyszkiewic. Here you can admire a rich display of 5000 figures made out of amber, as well as other temporary exhibitions. You will then have the chance to walk along the beautiful promenade of Palanga before returning to the port.
