The salt industry is one of the oldest on the island, since the "stay" of the Romans was given great importance to the commercialization of this mineral both for use by the locals and for shipping to the capital of Roman empire.

We will continue our tour with a visit to the picturesque and representative town of San José. The town of San Jose (Sant Josep de sa Talaia) is located in the southwestern part of the island, being also the capital of the municipality.

We will continue to San Antonio, old fishing village and pioneer of Ibiza tourism; With its lively and bustling port was an example for the whole island. In San Antonio we can enjoy free time to browse the shops, enjoy the promenade, its fountain, and its peculiar photograph.

Before returning to port, we will have a final stop at the top of the old town of Ibiza - Soto Fosc - and after a short walk we will arrive in front of the cathedral from where we can enjoy a fantastic view over the city and the port.
