Helsinki is the first city of Finland with the practically uninhabited territories of Europe. The city
has a vibrant Jewish community and Orthodox synagogue that located in the historical center.
This exciting tour allows you to see the best of Helsinki and learn more about its past and
present, citizens and Jewish culture.
The tour starts from cruise port of Helsinki. The tour bus allows you to explore the main sights
of the city, including the impressive Uspenski Cathedral, the Sibelius monument, the National
Gallery, Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art and the Ateneum Art Museum , Finlandia Hall,
the legendary Olympic Stadium and the must-see Church of the Rock – Temppeliaukio that is
built directly into solid rock
During the tour we visit the synagogue that is in the local Jewish Community Center, where you
can see their rooms.
The city center of Helsinki has a majestic classic style. The location of the Senate offers a view
of the impressive Helsinki Cathedral, the University of Helsinki, the National Library and the
Government Palace. In the center of the great square we can find the monument to the Russian
tsar Alexander II.
After visiting the highlights of Helsinki, we will spend some free time at the Market Square, try
some of authentic delicacies and browse through the local shops.
The tour ends at the cruise port, or if you prefer, the guide will leave you in the city center where
you can have a great lunch or do some additional shopping and explore the city on your own.

Note on the meeting point in Helsinki:
The guide will wait you at the general departure exit for passengers, not at the exit of the ship. In
West Harbor you have to go through the souvenir shop; near the exit of this shop you will find

our guide or your bus. In Hernesaari, the guide and the bus will meet you at the parking lot in
front of the port exit door.
