Bilbao city tour

Pick up by our guide in the port of Bilbao and transfer to the Bizkaia Bridge, or better known as the Suspension Bridge, the first transporter bridge built on a metallic structure, perfectly representing what the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century meant in this region. . Made up of four iron towers 61 meters high and located at the mouth of the Ibaizabal river, it is an original, harmonious and slender work that connects the towns of Portugalete, on the left bank of the estuary, and Getxo, on the right bank. We will discover this great monument that whispers stories of wealthy bourgeois and their tireless workers, a walk through both realities that shows the weight of a construction that, not because it is old, has lost an iota of its value.

We will walk through Las Siete Calles de Bilbao, the original nucleus of the town, we will contemplate its most emblematic buildings, the Town Hall, the Azkuna Zentroa, an old wine warehouse converted into a leisure and cultural center; the University of Deusto, the Euskalduna Palace,... we will take a pedestrian walk around the exteriors of the Guggenheim and we will help you understand the history of a city that has known how to reinvent itself.
