From the meeting point you will be taken on a fascinating guided sightseeing tour by bus through the beautiful centre of Bergen, Norway’s second largest city, famous for a.o. the seven mountains surrounding the town and the composer Edvard Grieg. You will drive by the most famous landmarks of Bergen, such as the Art Nouveau Theatre “Den Nationale Scene”, the medieval Håkonshallen fortress, the renowned fish market and of course, the UNESCO-listed Hanseatic quarter of Bryggen. Throughout the tour our guide will share many interesting facts and fun anecdotes with you to give you an insider’s view into this amazing city.

The bus will also take you on a short trip outside the city centre, to a spectacular viewpoint known as “Queen Maud’s View”. From here, you can enjoy the view towards Bergen and its charming fjords. You will clearly see why Bergen is known as “The Gateway to the Fjords”. On the horizon you can also observe the impressive Askøy Bridge, Norway’s second largest bridge, and one of the biggest suspension bridges in Scandinavia.

After the bus part of the tour, which takes approximately two hours, our guide will take you on a guided walk to show you the ins and outs of UNESCO’s Bryggen. Once you enter this labyrinthic and picturesque quarter, you will feel as if you’ve been transported back in time. An unforgettable experience and a must-do when visiting Bergen!

The tour ends with a visit to the top of Mount Fløyen, where you will also find a restaurant, gift shops and friendly troll statuettes. You will go there by funicular, lifting you high above the city center for yet another breathtaking view.
