Meeting with the guide at the port. The tour will cover the works of Antoni Gaudí, the greatest figure of Catalan modernist architecture. His unique approach to the Art Nouveau movement generated some of the most creative buildings you will see in Spain. Even if you don’t know anything about architecture or Gaudí, you will be able to identify a Gaudí building – they are unmistakable.

We start by a short stroll along the Paseo de Gracia, often referred to as “The Modernist showroom”. This historical boulevard takes you back in time to bourgeois nineteenth century. The extraordinary regularity of chamfered blocks and fascinating network of side streets define the essence of Cerda's Eixample, where the great masters of modernism, created its unique and singular architecture.

Our next stop - Gaudi’s most famous creation - Sagrada Familia. Attracting around 2.8 million visitors a year, it is the most visited monument in Spain. For the last 43 years of this life, Gaudi worked incessantly on this cathedral. The last twelve years of his life were dedicated exclusively to the creation of Holy Family Church so unique, innovative in form, structure and construction, that only the crypt, apse, cloister, the Nativity facade, and four towers had been completed at the time of Gaudi's death in 1926. The completion of construction is scheduled for 2026, the centenary of the death of the great architect.

Our tour takes you inside Basilica, where spectacular columns remind of trees that split their branches into the vault, while stained glass windows allow the sunlight to shine inside the temple, light that create magic and vivid colour-scheme.

See for yourself how Gaudi's genius and artistry has prevailed through time by visiting another of his most renowned masterpieces - Park Guell.

A sprawling estate with manicured lawns is what awaits visitors to Park Guell. Let your imagination run wild with sculptures, terraces and mosaic-embellished walls surrounding you everywhere! This immense and unique setting allows to take a glimpse of the universe of forms and images illustrating the peculiar world of Gaudí. This is a fantastic example of naturalist architecture, where Gaudi drew inspiration from the environment, producing geometrical innovations unheard of in his time.

We conclude this tour at one of the strangest residential buildings in Europe. This is Gaudí at his hallucinogenic best. The great architect gave Casa Batlló a facade that is original, fantastical and full of imagination. No wonder, Casa Batlló is generally considered to have one of the most creative and brilliant urban façades in the world. The building is a considered a masterpiece of Art Nouveau architecture.

There is an option of inside visit to Casa Batllo (36EUR pp)

We would like to make sure you are not exhausted at the end of this very informative and exciting tour, therefore we do not recommend visiting two interiors during the same day. Either you combine Park Guell with Sagrada Familia interiors, or Park Guell with Casa Batllo interiors.

Sagrada Familia - 26EUR per pax (under 11 free), Park Güell - 10EUR (children under 7 free), special discounts for juniors.
